this is, in my opinion, the funniest picture of my hair i took today. when my hair isn’t flipped like that there is just a streak of red down the side.
backwards.
Read The Raven aloud (because that’s the best way poetry can be read) and remembered why I love it so much.
It’s really pathetic but I keep trying to lock my not password protected mac when I go to get up because I do that every time I leave my desk at work.
Sitting at my friend’s house in Delaware with one of my favorite people doodling on my arm. Fireworks and people. (though hopefully not too many fireworks). Tonight is going to be lovely.
project for the next weekend or chunk of time i have free:
fm transmitter for my ipod because the one i have was too expensive and isn’t working too well. so i’m not paying a ton of money for something i can just make myself.
i was going to say morning commute but i mean, i do the same thing backwards in the afternoon.
suggestions?
Also after deleting my facebook, I made a new one. I have a total of 7 friends. Super popular over here.
I am so exhausted when I get back from work. I don’t even anything other than sit in front of a computer all day and go to meetings occasionally though. It’s annoying.
I’m excited though because I feel like I’m going to be doing actual things and not like busy work. Not that coops should be busy work, but like my friend today was like, “Coops are usually pretty menial jobs” and I’m like :(. It’s only my 3rd day though so I’ll see how it turns out I guess.
I’m using the goddamn free app why are you doing this to me tumblr
reading about racism and privilege makes my head hurt. this invisible knapsack paper is really good/interesting/informative though.
why does the fact that i’m looking at new kids on the block videos so i can pretend i listened to them when i was 12 or whatever when i see them in a few weeks mean i want to listen to parachute? like really vevo this is so annoying to me.
I’m thinking of trying it out this summer, but I’m a little worried about getting injured. If you have done it, how did it go/did you like it/did you benefit from it?
So, jk, I won’t be on a stake boat since I’m a legitimate spare.
When relaying this to me my coach told the wonderful story of Kay Worthington who was a spare at the 1992 Olympics for the Canadian rowing team (my coach is from St. Catharines). One of the women in the four and the eight hurt her back three days before the race. Kay got the chance to race in both of those boats and both of the boats won.
So this is, in his words, my chance to be Kay Worthington, though I certainly no one is injured tomorrow.
