I am not sure I can even explain how much I love the album Simple Math by Manchester Orchestra. I adore it.
I read a review of Pala, Friendly Fires most recent album, recently, and summed up it was basically: same-ish, not as good as previous album but aight, Hawaiian Air may be specifically meant to annoy. [It might have been slightly more complimentary but I don’t remember that well and the magazine is at my desk at school and I am at home]
But Hawaiian Air is possibly my favorite song on the album right now.
And I love Spotify. Bunches.

I haven’t missed playing instruments this much in a long while.
Piano, because it was first, and I could play it here occasionally but don’t. And it is only an hour or two away at home.
Double bass, because orchestra is my favorite. I loved it more than jazz band, really. String instruments, in general, sound perfect to me. I can sink so well into the music.
Saxophone (alto), because it was easiest, because it came to me the quickest and was so clear. What I miss most can’t be brought back, 8th grade jazz band, brilliant in my mind.
I am in such a weird sentimental mood right now. Bleh. I want to learn how to play the cello.
